What is PreViser?
PreViser is an online risk prediction system which, through a simple 3 minute assessment, quantifies patients’ risk and disease levels into scores which are readily understood by patients.
These objective and reproducible scores are provided in the form of personalized ‘biofeedback’ reports which help to motivate patients to take responsibility for their own oral health.

- The ability to categorise patients according to risk, thus helping to determine more objectively the nature of treatment plans and recall intervals;
- A highly visual and motivational patient education system that engages patients in self management;

How does PreViser work?
Nine pieces of routine data are entered into a series of query screens. Once submitted (online, real-time), a personalised Periodontal Risk and Disease Assessment Report is generated that can be printed out and discussed with the patient. The tool itself can be downloaded free of charge over the internet and the service is provided economically by monthly subscription.
